To make an appointment: Appointments may be made by contacting Peter Freney or Dr Christine King on (07) 54 452 458, or by contacting the screener or diagnostician near you. It would be unusual if the waiting time is more than two or three weeks. If you are travelling a considerable distance it is usual to make a double appointment to save unnecessary travelling in the event that a second appointment is required.
Other Centres: Besides the Base Office in BUDERIM, we conduct clinics in, VICTORIA POINT, ALEXANDRA HILLS, CAPALABA and GRACEVILLE. If you would like an appointment in one of these centres, please ring the number above and leave your number so that I can ring when a visit is being arranged.
There are resident Diagnosticians in MARYBOROUGH, BUNDABERG, GLADSTONE, ROCKHAMPTON/MACKAY, TOWNSVILLE and CAIRNS. Diagnosticians associated with the Gold Coast Clinic are located in GOLD COAST, IPSWICH AND TOOWOOMBA. See the Screeners page for contact details.
Information Evenings: We are prepared to speak at meetings of the public, parent groups, teachers, service clubs and any other groups with an interest in this area. The presentation can include videos of some of the changes in clients as a result of the lenses being prescribed. It may be possible for some of the schools to combine with other neighbouring schools for a regional meeting.
